Pitiful

Pitiful

A Poem by Brandon Mathis

It is so pitiful what you are

You ripped my heart out, from the start

Look at this life through these eyes

Maybe then you could show me some heart

But I guess we will just keep falling apart

I thought that you were so beautiful

Now when we get too close

I don’t want anything to do with you

But if you knew what I went through

Then maybe you would know

That there’s nothing left of my soul

Agonizing pain

On the left side of my brain

You were the one that crossed the line

And I’m the one that caught fire

What a price you might say

I don’t need this anyway

I’m hanging by a moment

Give me a minute just to say

I wan’t to make things right

Before I have to say good-bye

Does it really madder

What I have left behind

Very nice. Was it just me catching different lines of songs throughout this? Either way, still very good. Keep it up!

nice one..but i know there's a word "madder" which means a red dye...but i thought it should be "matter"...
