Upon These Stars

I guess it is about time

That I stand up and open my eyes

Day by day I can feel the sun light

The cold id gone for good and I feel so alive

 

My dreams become clearer

As I search for my eyes in the mirror

I couldn’t see myself before

I was in hell but I won’t go back to that anymore

Because I think I finally figure out what this life’s for

All or nothing I have to face my fears

I can finally say no as I close the door

 

I wish upon these stars

To give me the strength I need in my heart

I can’t ever erase all my scars

But I can do this it’s not too much farther

The cravings inside of me make it harder

So I wish upon ever little star

 

I know I have said this before

But this time is different

If I seem a little distant

It’s because I now walk in the present

Don’t question me just be silent

So that I can finally make it through this

I don’t need anyone to make it hard

So I’m going to wish upon all these stars
