The More

The More

A Poem by Brandon Mathis

The more you move away

I don’t feel any shame

The more you move away

I don’t feel any more pain

The more I forgot about you

The more I realized you treated me like the waste if your use

Now you can’t hurt me any more

What can you really do?

Check mate now it’s your move

So talk to me in a nice tone

Sooner or later you will have won

I wish knew where you are going

It hurts me to see you leave

But it was a longtime coming

Maybe one day you will come back for me

I try to put it away because of all the pain

You’re the worst in me that I didn’t I didn’t want to loose

I will take all the blame and shame

For some reason I love the way you relieved me through

I will make it through all of the misery you put me through
