A poem about overcoming your life and changing with no fear anymore in it

I’m flying to the sky

feeling so good inside

you can see the shine,

in my eyes

that every things going to be all right

 

No more tears

I have escaped my fears

it’s a new me

that this life leads

I’ve come so far

to not fall apart

I’ve become complete

 

For all that know

how I was so cold

look how much I’ve grown

that’s what I owe

 

I tortured myself

with my hate

so I put on my fake face

so no one could get in to help

Such an uplifting poem, I love the happiness and joy in it, the freedom and soar-y feeling, it's just...motivating. I also enjoyed the free verse, however, I guess this already-good poem would get better if you added a better conclusion. For me, the last part didn't just seem to end the poem perfectly and there was still this part of me hanging, waiting. However, overall this is a great write, good job :)

wowo..i really like these type of poems..the title in itself is so strong.and your verses.they are stronger than that.....the rhyme,rhythm...and the flow of your glee and boldness.......they are all so great...nice work.....though i agree with Reflectus.that last part.it seems that there is more to it.........

Wow, I love the flow and for many people we all wear masks protecting ourselves from pain. It feels so good when you can just be yourself and no longer feel fear for the unknown. Great write!
