Another way to show my faces

with our love delayed

for another empty day

where have we been

where have we gone wrong

this happens again

so I run away

 

Collapsed in a dark world

feelings of what was just heard

is this really real

can this be how it feels

another face to show

when I begin to heal

 

Lying in self pity

a face not known

something I want to show

but broken and alone

there’s not much to show

 

Can you hear me calling

as I am falling

drained of my own life

I come out of hiding

to a face shinning

that I keep denying
