Clouds

This is my wife's favorite

Did you see the thunder clouds

watch me as i drown

the sun is gone

this day doesnt belong

 

As they turn black

 the lighnting begins to attack

leaving my world to crack

never can it be turned back

the clouds take my life so fast

 

I could bow and beg

but you will drain me of whats left
so i fight for the sunshine instead

youll remember this day as my life shreads

 

So i reach to the sky

i clear the clouds and make it shine

i fly with the wind

 untill my end 

As they turn bright

 im lifted so high

as i float with the clouds

i say goodbye

Ok this is killing me this is really similar to a poem I have in my book but I can't have it on this page for legal reasons! :/ Either way I love the last stanza and the ending was a very good way to end it. Like when you're listening to a metal track and the music just fades away... Good work man!
