Save Me For Tomorrow

Save Me For Tomorrow

A Poem by Brandon Mathis

Save me now

Don’t wait till your times ran out

Give me your hand

Help me pick up my legs and stand

There’s no time to waste

So why don’t you save me

You tell me it’s going to be okay

Hold your head high

Is what you say

Standing by my side

You rebuild my faith

So that I can rise

With-out you I wouldn’t be here

Living everyday in fear

I was trapped in my life of pain

You held out your arms

And surrendered your heart

The color is coming back to my face

Now life isn’t so black and grey

Your touch was like magic

Erasing all of my scars

Life isn’t trying to tear me apart

I need you more and more

Just like an addict

I need you right now

So come and give me my fix

All alone I have a shadow of a noose

My imagination runs wild

I’m froze and I don’t know how to move

There are not enough words to say

That I will always need you
