Severed

I have been severed

Someone put me back together

Or leave me in pieces

My broken life doesn’t get better

Lifeless with this pain forever

 

My life is the piece of the puzzle that you won’t find

Lost forever getting caught in the fire

I’ve been in the dark so long

I get blinded from the lights

It’s getting harder to move on

I ask myself why I still try

 

I take a good look in the mirror

I try to escape my own fears

I am just surrounded by them

Everywhere that I turn

Seems to start at the end

With no beginning I just burn

What lesson is there to learn?

 

I have made so many mistakes

But no one deserves this kind of pain

The more I think

The more that I begin to shake

 

No one’s going to put me back together

I have been severed

Left to this cold weather

There’s no way to get better

When this pain is forever
