I know there’s another side

That you never show

That I need to find

It has so much hope

It’s trying to make your life shine

 

With your new life

You don’t tell any lies

You don’t have to run and hide anymore

You feel like you could fly

A new passion about yourself you open a new door

 

Promise to never let me down

Promise to cheer me up when I have a frown

Promise to always be with me

Promise to do that but you really don’t want to

Promise everyday to say that I love you

 

We found a place

Where there is no more hate

No more aches, no more pains

I promise to bring you to paradise

So that your smile never dies

Making your life start to shine

I detected a subtle streak of darkness in this poem, like a hint of possessiveness, but I'm sure that says more about me than anything :P A great piece either way^^
