Another Inspirational Poem

I held your hand through all of these years

And you still hide from me

You take away all that I breathe

But you still chase away these fears

That has captured me in these mirrors

 

You choose to hide your face

Why are you so scared?

There is no reason to be afraid

You have chased all my fears away

For you I’ll do the same

I’ll hold your hand through this

For you is all that I care

So today let’s make this all begin

 

I know that this will be hard

But I will be the one to help carry your heart

In my hands I can bring you so far

So come out of your hiding

And show them how much that you’re shining

To let this world know that you can smile

 

I will never let go

As long as I still have my soul

In my heart you will always have a home

So let’s show the unknown

How much that you can glow?

I’ll hold your hand

I promise that you won’t be alone

 

I just want you to shine

Let out a laugh and show your smile

I’ll hold your hand through all of this

In the end is where you can begin

So take my hand and let out your inner grin
