Proved You Worng

Got a new job with better pay and this is for all those who didn't believe in me, thank you god i got it.

All this time I have been living with this black heart

All this time I thought that my life had fallen apart

All this time I have, I had been working so hard

All this time has paid off

And this time I won’t give up

 

I have proved you wrong

Like I knew I would all along

As I write this poem I sing along

Yesterday I was gone

Today I have never been stronger

And it feels so good to prove you all wrong

 

I am enjoying today

As I knew I would

I have finally captured the light

Does it look strange?

To see me look so bright

I proved you wrong

And you said that I couldn’t

 

As my wife looks at me with those eyes

Cause she knows who I am

I am the man that had the will that can

I look so bright

All this time

I knew I would prove you wrong

Thank you god I feel so strong

And I didn’t need them to carry me along

 

Now with my heart so lifted

I was so wrong to think that it had ended

All this time it was just my beginning

You wanted me to fall apart

You know who you are

It feels so good to prove you wrong
