Never Ending Plea

Never Ending Plea

A Poem by Sarah-Beth
"

love is the most beautiful confusion I have ever encountered.

"

The lingering touch of your fingertips leave me spiraling into a dark abyss.

The taste of your lips and the softness of your kiss makes me miss that which I swore I'd never miss.

The sound of your laughter ringing in my ears mixes with the saltiness and bitterness of my tears.

At times I wonder if the memory of your beautiful brown eyes will ever leave me,

and the way you looked straight through to my soul.

Will the ache ever leave my heart, this I ponder every day praying to God to take it away.

Wanting you to leave my dreams yet never have I wanted you so badly to stay.

My heart is like Pandora's box and you have got the key,

give it back to me my dear and I'll give you your leave.

Listen to me I beg of you, hear this my never ending plea.
