Rainbow

This poem is about how no matter how down and defeated you feel that there will always be someone to help you up.

Sometimes I cry. Cry, and cry 'till there's nothing left inside.

I want to see life through a new set of eyes. A pair of eyes that have never cried.

And I wanna find that rainbow, I'm not the one who cares about that pot of gold.

Just to ride upon that rainbow to see the colors oh so bright would make it all seem  alright.

But until that day comes, just gotta go along and take what God gives me.

And I know, oh I know one day my Lord is gonna let me ride that rainbow.
