stained eyes and broken fingers

stained eyes and broken fingers

A Poem by Jinelly

stars overlapping smeared coal,
on matter.
what matters?
swimming into the eyes of a lover,
jade eyes
your jade eyes.
feelings of winter on summer mornings,
breathing frost
yet dry and withered in windy beaches,
and dripping wet by lakes of sheets.
pink stained skin
hungry hands
your hungry hands,
feeding off flesh and cloth.
and thirteen beauty marks,
thirteen more reasons to wrap your eyes in mine
thirteen reasons that matter.
