Hi bluessadmood: It is apropos that I found you today because of the agreement between the US and Iraq; hopefully that's a good thing and will lead to a more secure and peaceful world. Though of course there are no easy answers and it is not known yet whether the US ultimately will sign the agreement since our Congress will have to approve. Thus, with that backdrop, it is all the more poignant to read this "story" of yours. It speaks to me of the triumph of the human spirit, of yours. Would that we all have that depth within us to draw out the light even in the midst of terrible darkness. I don't know whether you want any suggestions are not. I won't make any at this time, in case you don't, so as not to detract from the beauty you have shared. If you do want suggestions, let me know and I will share them with you.

This is inspirational. I liked the half-prose, half-poetry style and the uplifting tone. You show real determination here. Keep writing! All of us should thinkn like this.
Of course you will live dear because you have obvious faith. Your story speaks volumes about your life here on earth, and your personality shines through your writing. Keep writing, speaking your mind, having faith, laughing, trying to be happy and keep safe......till your time is done....which I hope is a long way away.
I enjoyed this story and feel extremely humble now as a result.
Thanks for pointing a few things out for us all.
Take care

This is an astonishingly powerful write that shows such determination in the face such adversity. You embrace life in such a wonderful way. This shows truly incredible character.
No matter if the sky is cloudy, rainy and black. I will live
No matter if my roads are bumpy full of never joyful rides. I will live
So many explosions, bombings around me, leading a very risky life. But I will live
I get very sad at what I see every day, so much misery around, but I will laugh and I will live
But the whole poem is. As Emily Burns says you have a remarkable story
Brilliant write my dear friend. Your courage and tenacity to maintain
a "normal" life amidst the chaos shines like a beacon throughout this
candid and heartrending piece.
"No matter if the sky is cloudy, rainy and black. I will live
No matter if my roads are bumpy full of never joyful rides. I will live"
Yes, you will live Moayad..... to tell the story. The story of your struggle
against all odds and the ability to maintain dignity and the love of and
belief in the preciousness of life despite it all.
This is another amazing piece of litterature. I love the strength in this piece. The ability to hold your head up high and live life despite the extremities of the situation shows real character. Well penned.

Brilliant I am glad you wrote this we have such little time here on earth anyways so we should be happy and not miserable all the time. Thank you for the kick in the tail I needed it today. This was amazing and I think you are a great person to bring it to our attention.
Amen and amen! Such a stupid life! I liked the timing of this and the upbeat mood that it conveys. Loved it! Triumphant in the face of danger and despair. Brilliant write!
I will live! I will live!
Yet if I die......who cares! I totally get it....
More poetic than prose. Nicely done bit of writing. Nicely stated mood. More accepting that life happens but it is not you. Nice. Thanks for putting this out there.
