this message is full of love ,its not what it seems ,there is no hatred in it whatsoever,i just want the madness to stop ,i want love to come over again,the world is getting sick we need to get more rational,this hatred is getting us nowhere,it has to sto

oh peace what a wonderful word,we all sing of it

peace be with you

may rest in eternal peace

have a peaceful day

so peaceful they are

peace,its not just calm and quiet

its respect to humans

i have never seen peace all my life

how i wish to live if only for a few days

but peace was never meant for us

greed is all i knew since young

killing and blood is all i used to see

oh my friends oh how ugly

if you have seen the amount of blood i saw

the many lives i witnessed be taken

lives ...dreams hopes endless thoughts of the future

in a flicker is taken away

life leaving behind so many others

children and wife and home

only used to be home

now its no more

when i walk the streets i see lots of red

so thick it tells how many here just left

but they left behind their flesh so much

every beautiful morning i would go out

to see these mass of flesh heaped in every corner

this is how much man is worth,a heap of flesh

i just look ,never believe my eyes

never seen so many,no move ,no life

i really cry and cry hard

i see faces looking at me eyes not moving

some frozen in a smile,some so frightened

some almost look asleep

others look they once have been so alive

so i turn around and go home till next morning

when i will come out see a new collection

and i marvel at what,at what  this world has come to be

Well i did read this and it fills me with terror. I do hope you experience peace in your life so much !!! Peace is everything that is required to have a happy life. But some folks are not so fortunate to experience it at all...I pray for those.,,every day !!

This is the 2nd piece today that made me stop and ponder on the very issues which plague humanity. Peace is the one frailty that is stomped upon by the hardened hearts of man. A precious gift delicately woven by our Almighty's hands often it is cast aside without a second glance. Yes we long for peace; however, do very little to sustain it. A great write. Thank you.

I am sometimes lost for words, when I see or read such atrocities that others have to suffer through, it is very hard to comprehend, that the living heart can go on living day to day facing such things and it is more unbelievable that governments of this world can continue this kind of destruction, with no regard to humanity, especially the innocent, it is all power and greed that is the driving force behind all this mess of the world, not one of them know how to sit down and talk about peace. There is a greater power in our universe and someday he will show his wrath to those who are heartless. Thank you for writing this piece.

I absolutely agree with what Li Li said. I don't usually speak for other people
but I am sure there would be millions and millions of people who not
only hate and detest people who have no regard whatsoever about human
life, who not only feel so depressed and appalled but unable to do absolutely
anything to irradicate this awful, abmomination and scourge on innocent
civilians.

It blows my mind to think that some people have NEVER known peace in this life.
No human being should have to know this kind of tragedy.

This poem does disturb me, not only hearing about the atrocities heaped
upon you everyday, but to think that our dear friend is in the thick of it
is just so terrible to contemplate.

Thank you so much for sharing....it needs to be said!

I read this and feel sorrow. I can't imagine being in a place where so much is corrupt. I know what it is like to live in the worst hood of America. Then when I look beyond America... I know things could be worse. I feel sorry for all those caught up in the wrath of destruction. Especially all the innocent children. I hear things of the war, and I wish I could go over and save every person who is undeserving of such hate. Just imagining the things I could see there.... grows tears in my eyes.

I wish all people could come together in this "peace". Come together and benefite our world, instead of hurting it. I believe it is possible. Just not taught.

You have remained a better person through all the things you have seen. This proves you are a pure soul.
