Found a home at last

Found a home at last

A Story by bluessadmood
"

i saw that clip of a Syrian boy drowned on the beach in Greece..i was shocked ,how humanity could be so base and filthy..never imagined the world would be without any shame

"
hey boy i see you lying there on that beach all alone
but where is mother or sister, are you so alone
why are you left there, lying under the sun
the sea could touch all your fragile body.you all wet
no more than five and still like adventures
but who where you with, they left you all
so sound asleep,i see your face ,what
a deep sleep.must be be so tired
tired of it all ,saw that its not worth it
you drove all the way from home
to try a new life, you got there right
but alas you are so tired and dead asleep
who could wake you,its a non ending sleep
so why are the tears, was the journey so hard
on little bones, never worry, now you rest
and forever, just wish i knew the mother
to tell her her young one finally made it
to a place where no more worries,or aches
anyway dont think you could take any more
sleep well little one,may be be in paradise
you will find a better shelter,or home
i just wonder who is orchestrating
this symphony..a very bad musician..for sure

Such an image tears at the heart of us who care, who see life as precious beyond gold. He should have had a childhood, playing with other kids and when older, fallen in love. None of those things will be his, and we can only shed tears and ask why. It is man's inhumanity to fellow man. It is war, damned war. Surely, this precious boy's spirit rests now in omnipotent arms.

Oh This is such a sad poem my friend. So much you touched my heart with your words. Children shoud always be loved and cherished, and yet there is so much nastiness in this world. Enough to make eyes cry. I enjoyed This brilliant poem, my friend....Peter

God it rips me apart. The picture and your words. 5 years old. I hug my grandchildren tight. I pray that they will never know or see what you've seen. Rest your head. Rest your heart. I send love.

Thank you so much from my heart.
The picture is a hard image to look at. He does look so normally asleep, as he might be in a bed after playing out. But as you say he was not playing out but being tossed around the world. You capture the feeling with a certain weary acuteness. 'a very bad musician' is my favourite dab. Of course the big players do not care about 'sentimental images' as they pursue their policies.

Very, very sad Blues. You penned this from your compassionate and sympathetic heart, as I'm sure anyone with a heart would feel, with that terrible image of a beautiful little angel who has now absolutely earned his wings in the safe womb of paradise.

As for the monsters, who allow this to happen......well I had better not comment here how I feel. Suffice to say my blood is boiling at 'mans' inhumanity to man'.
