My First TimeA Poem by Bluethings aren't always as they seem
The first time was scary.
I didn't know what was happening. I never had this feeling before. This was all new to me. I noticed her lips first. I noticed how the sunlight caught her lipgloss and made it sparkle. She tilted her head and smiled and holy s**t...that was it. I knew I was a goner. I still didn't know what to do. I only remember ever liking boys. But this girl, she was different. She gave off warmth and happiness like the sun. I could picture us together years down the road. I could imagine kissing her and holding her hand all the time. In that moment, it was all I ever wanted.
