a satisfied mind

a satisfied mind

A Poem by blueseeker
"

insipired by jeff buckley

"

in these swaths of time

are never with

a satisfied mind.

a supposed purpose

allegedly scripted for my time.

innocent, here i follows.

release i crave

and will leave this aged mind

            with a satisfied

                                    mind.

The structure was confusing and the content was confusing as well. I am sleepy so I'm acting this way. Drunkards should be allowed inside a liquor store. I like the fact that this poem is eccentric in both content and the other thingie.

A poem that convines with a complex meaning contained within clear language.
Not easy to do, so you did very well here !.

~ i could never follow a script... scripts shackle me... they're prisons... yet, i'd attempt to follow them and fail until i found a philosophical justification for not following them... and that's simple... (though by no means simplistic)... i like to live in the present... now, i don't curse myself for not being able to follow scripts... i tell those who expect me to follow them the same thing... (as politely and as courteously as possible)... ~ i'm glad i could read this piece and think aloud...

A father who misleads the son with a certain self serving purpose leaves a disatisfaction in the son impossible to erase nor fulfill. In that he offers to the son, eventually, a choice between loyalty to the father and faith to the self.

James Dean, like many American icons, chose instead to transfer the loyalty to his mother. In that the son came to mislead the father. Thereafter he lost touch with America and the world.
