A Sonorous Wail

A Sonorous Wail

A Poem by BAMBE ABASS ABIDEMI
"

Nigerian Youths in loss and pain: Future uncertain.

"
Just in our memories, are
Uniformed violence like of June
Notifications of it pleasantries on its 12s
Enveloped protest from the wingless crowd.

Yolks of Adulthood, many refrained
And future youth vent for them
Happy jobs like Yahoo tame the TRUTH
Only the fools speak now the truth
Only the game is enough a glory,,glory
hmmm.

Clouded country with corruption fogs
Ovulated dangers in cascaded security
Rotten leaders like momot carcasses

Like Hunger wasn't enough,then comes
Subsidy and handsome inflation for okro workers
Where is our right you swore to DEFEND?

Just like Grasshoppers we caught and played with
Kidnappers collect us and chess our life
Pregnant Honcho at the other end while Bandits starts the game
We're lost,,,,,

Who will cry when all is over
Empty campus with grazing Cows and official herdsman
The strike by Asuu yield at least
What shame for a country painted by
Commercials white Foreigners with a black painter.?

This is a mourn from out of school children
Whose life, the Budget missed
Let's with this at least ease the pain.
