What's with NatureA Poem by BAMBE ABASS ABIDEMINature knows more pang than many feels and wails for
I'll love to wake
Amidst succulent lillies And below the joy of Barbados On shore of the huge Niger Where lullaby sings goldfish. I'll love to wake On a birch indecisive branch Or where my worries fade? Floating me high over the noir Where young I remain with grey. I'll love to wake Beside the Eucalyptus' foot On mushroom sleepless bed Above marching little Soldiers Or where can nature say agony? I'll love to roam the field Amidst tortured dead maize Where no more dancing wind's song And many wail for lad deaths Tell me, he who die than they do? I'll love to surf my black spec Amidst the sweet ugly fate of green Flourishing with bitter liquor with scalding wine but vomiting ice Or who lives after their death please tell. I'll love to chair my spine When all black gathers grey spec And sing the misery in black and white To all who felt no peace but pangs The green I think has some word for all. © 2021 BAMBE ABASS ABIDEMIAuthor's Note
