Freedom in Gaol

Freedom in Gaol

A Poem by BAMBE ABASS ABIDEMI
"

Corruption is the only war with no end

"
How long have you thought they've toil?
In immense silence on their black soil.
Cut short of youth for trade rail
In sun, every pore screech with red boil
In turn coins with them, then long sail.

Black pods and their plunged land
Silent Church with empty choir band
Golden teeth, grey specs all in shand
Cheerful field wail with lonely sand
Where are the green who loves to dand?

Home empty and boulevard bearded
Sleeping stream and white rock bed
Smiling Crowns and playful beed
Grunting Cross and lustful bullet feed
Miserable days took Snow the lead

White nude in letters all rush and take
Tell me, who stops Eagle from naked snake
With letters harmed, weapon of truth and spike
To the sea, on sail Snows did make
Black on black with crown nay no kike.

Black on black vow of Abnegation
Amala, Foofoo and Tuwon with Abnation
Tell me won't greed bring in Ablation?
First and last green bullet threw accusation
The last then their acidulation.

Aged wails trembling with early graves
Coward out sipping, sleeping braves
Pouch filled ,tell! who speaks slaves
All pray well, silent down empty caves
Please when Cow moans what says Calves.
