NIGHT BEFORE THE CROSS OVERA Poem by BAMBE ABASS ABIDEMIToday's joy shouldn't blind us for the future is dynamic
It was night before the cross over
In the deem night of festive joy Where the fireworks stars the sky And their songs awaking the ghost Racing up like hungry arrows Or like vapors that cloud the sky There amidst the new born year hungers Who eliminate the fortunes for some secs I lie with running thought In my head, the images Of the burning year Its pangs and joys Its strength and failure It's all there for all to see as clear To reminisce and wail for long Till the stream make a sea Nay the new 1 wipe the pondering And with magic I will say Makes all crave for a better diet I'm in, for all choose to be But I'm out for my brain won't let me Let's reminisce after the joy And by the last all shall joy and not ponder. © 2021 BAMBE ABASS ABIDEMIAuthor's Note
