The Willow TreeA Poem by BramptonianmeditationSitting under the willow tree how majestic you seem Your leaves drooping downward As if holding back a scream Your sorrows you keep, as you whisper to me Caressing my soul under the tree
Your leaves are vibrant, happily dancing in the breeze Its energy is incredible just like the power of a sneeze I am silently resting, emptying my mind Erasing the errors made by mankind I am very comfortable, relaxed and free Sitting quite happily under the tree
Your branches embrace me; they keep me warm Protecting my heart from the raging storm Your tenacity for live is abundantly clear You continue to live; you always persevere As I sit alone listening to you speak You are Gods creation; a beautiful antique © 2012 Bramptonian |
