I can sense dramatic pauses after the end of every line. The language used is very simple but the emotions are well-expressed. The "behind" in the last line is heartbreaking, a surprise addition to the title. :x

I could feel right away that is very lyrical. There are a couple lines that might clash rhythmically to music, but nothing that can't be remedied with experimentation. Great job.
