A Poem by Eduardo Bautista

It is quintessentially passing through

The eternal system of the universe

A nonchalant string of light that undulates its way

Around the vastness of alpha and the omega;

A glory that isn’t even vital for their existence

And violent and gentle movement,

But somehow needed for the longevity

And resistance from evil destruction.

Moving in reverend silence with

a massive truce of untenability

It seeps through everything and wrapped around on every law of nature

And on its very presence,

A one-of-a-kind species is so blessed to sense it moving,

But some are willing to turn their back on,

And some are willing to wait…forever.
