The seed

The seed

A Poem by blueeyeddevel
"

We all have ideas of purpose and hope. We all seem to be forgetting what are path is to be. We all are just getting lost in are worlds that we create around us. We no longer care about true love.

"

I remember watching the seed drop to the ground

An in an instant life shot straight up into the air reaching for the sky

Breath flowed throughout the world, and we gasped

Drained from our wars we bleed out the pain in the last attempt to feel pain

With the last gasp for the air we blink and fade away into a nonexistent forever

We remember letting the sand run through are fingers, and we remember gazing at the stars and asking questions

But we don’t remember where we went wrong

We don’t remember forgetting about the path ahead

We don’t remember love

We don’t remember life

It's like lightning cracking when you write.
I don't know exactly what it is, but you have this way of capturing peoples attention and really making them think about things. You also have an amazing flow, it feels to me, when you write, like it comes directly from your heart to the page. There is no filter, it's just pure :)
keep it up

About
2011 was the last time that I have been on here. I gave up on writing in 2011, and I think I'm trying to reignite my passion for this hobby. Its the only thing that's cheap for a hobby these days. S.. more..
