Wrath of Sins

Wrath of Sins

A Poem by bluecuckoo

When the sun shone that day glowing like never,
I knew it was the last time.
When the moon stood over the hills spreading
the everlasting peace,
I knew it was the last time.
All those laughs and jealousy
underestimating the poor,
came to an end on the last moment of everything,
after which only smoke and ashes were left
and the billion shrieks
witnessed by the whole universe.!

I really like this, especially the "underestimating the poor..." part. You've done a great job in making it feel apocalyptic without trying too hard, I really like it.
