How many plants will I have to watch to grow?

How many flowers do I have to wait to bloom?

 

Or...

Is there a living tick to cup an ear to?

Will stars fall on the flats?

Or, didn’t the winter trim the greens?

As to summer, are the blossoms not wilted yet?

 

What will you do to make the sundial twirl swifter?

What shall you wish to pull the stars and fall out?

Do you own the greenest thumb to plow the land?

When will you command the drops to bloom the buds?

 

Uhh...

When will whens be ons and ins?

How will hows be like this and that?

Where will wheres be heres and theres?

What response will whats get, and the aftermath?

 

Is it nature, or you?

Is it you, or your inside twin?

Is it within you, or your mind?

Or your heart?
