The Manor

The Manor

A Poem by MelLM

This Manor is where I hide myself
I can lock myself in a corner
Not disturb anyone else
I can be who I want to here
Awaiting judgement
Or fleeing from it.
I can run from whatever I wish
Even myself

He hides here too
But I've never seen him
But I know.
He is the small scream under the chair
Through the pipes
And in the air.
He is what makes me feel less alone
In this vast Manor of ours
