The Crippled SoulA Poem by MelLM
When the price of beauty is way too high
And you find yourself just getting by, Remember Youre not alone. Look at yourself, so tortured and torn When you're more like a rag doll, negelected and worn. Just remember. Youre not alone. Forgotten and mysterious Unproven and delirious Just look what youve become, ever recognized by none. Abnormally wanting, So desperate; it's taunting. You know better than to do this to yourself. No aversions created by rushed decisions. No turning back. Skinny waist, tiny thighs. Tell me, do you feel alive? Glamourous in this graced cover, Jealousy created in the others. To go through the pain they cant see, How this truly came to be, You say: Oh they'll never know, never know. Save yourself from the pain, Body deprived and ever slain. There's some glitter in the dust, though You've been though all too much, oh. Change up the routine dear, You've got nothing to fear here. Fear that you're not worth it, Fear that you're not perfect Well, there's no such thing at all. Give up trying, mind dying, Being bothered from your soul, oh. A Crippled soul caving in, Dying just to fit in Counting your life pass you by. Obsession running you dry Truly lovely, you'll find yourself to be. Just reach out and take in what you need Always hurting, but you're not learning. It's alright, you're okay. Well that's what they all say. You think you've got it all figured out, Why, where, who it's about. What matters is that you know who you are You can only stretch so far. Skinny waist, tiny thighs. Tell me, do you feel alive? Glamourous in this graced cover, Jealousy created in the others. To go through the pain they cant see, How this truly came to be, You say: Oh they'll never know, never know. We'll see how it goes. © 2013 MelLM |
