I will dream about you

you captured my heart

and hold it prisoner still

your face

your touch

your being

your love

is all that keeps my sane

I thought I forgot your name

but I call you that for a reason

and that reason is

I love you

you say you feel sorry for me

because I get into trouble

and have been put through so much

but I have barely broke the surface

you swear to still care

but I don't want to loose you

my heart has

and will always

beat by itself

for my chest isn't hollow

but it can hold but one resident

yet you are so close to me

it feels that the two are one

you say you'll love me forever

but i know forever isn't as long as it used to be

love may be free

but death is a price

we all have to pay

I will not live forever

but while I'm here

I'll live for you

do not pitty me

I will bleed my fair share

you can not help me

if you are not here

just to hold my hand

I know I love you

to me its completly obvious

just wasn't at that moment

when you said forget the family ties

but my heart explodes

then you fell to your knee

I stumbled aback

we may have not been blood

but I once did love him

yet when he first asked to call me sister

it broke my heart

so I ripped out all hopes to bear his children

to replace it for family caring

so just as quickly as I had to crush my hopes

they did return

never had I known

love was supposed to feel this great

now here I am

talking to you

wishing the day would come

when you could return to me

for a single day without you

makes my heart dread

my husband

my lover

my signifigant other

be with me always

and never forget me

but for now I will rest my eyes
