The Helmet of Salvation

The Helmet of Salvation

A Poem by Brenden Taylor
"

"Since we belong to the day, let us be sober, having put on...for a helmet the hope of salvation."

"
For the helmet of salvation that we don
and the trouble that we have to keep it on,
it's no wonder that we falter
with the will of a defaulter:
when the hope to rest in Paradise is gone.
