This Is The World We Live In?

Today's world...

This world is corrupt.

We stand so high on our pedestal of patriotism we ignore the signs of a falling kingdom.

The people our faithful flocks to a man no one dare interrupt,

A world so corrupt it's sad to realize

That what we once thought as freedom has mutated into what burger I can supersize.

We live by the media, the images on our computer screen.

We live by our belongings, what new movie we've seen.

I think it sad to sit around and live by such meaningless standards.

Such meaningless things now burned in our heads.

My little girl now calls herself fat while skin and bones,

Staring at a mirror wishing for the image to change.

Wishing for the newest lipstick or trend.

She ignores her books and morals left in her stead.

Pictures of models and porn stars haunting her head.

My son no longer has a brain anymore,

He lifts weights and his only interest is that new video game at the store.

 He wants to be a football player he wants to be a star.

He wants the hottest girls and a nice car.

Nobody cares and everyone wants to be watched.

Everyone wants to be taught but no one wants to learn.

When everything catches fire,

Trust me it will.

There's not much value in a dollar bill.

With nothing to back it nothing to compensate.

Overpopulation from idiots who chose to procreate.

Food will be scarce and people will starve.

But nobody cares to even know.

They're happy as long as they have their worthless money to blow.

We live in a world such as only Stalin or Hitler could create.

A cleverly hidden communist state.

The people in charge don't need force to control. 

Why would they when they have the proles.

Nobody cares and nobody listens,

The world can't go on in conditions like this.

We pay so much homage to our flag of Red, White, and Blue.

The thing we've devoted hundreds of lives into.

The hundreds of fathers and mothers who died for this cause,

Are all counted for loss we live in a society full of false flags and secrets.

But anytime the public realizes it soon forgets.

This is the world we live in,

Stand still and take a bow.

The world we live in is falling, 

And it's happening now.
