Hidden Smile

Hidden Smile

A Poem by BloodyWire
"

Do You Hide A Hidden Smile?

"

I walk a crowed street

On the pavement pound fastly moving feet

Yet no one really see’s me

I could try to make them see, but it’ll come at a fee

The hot sun beats on my covered back

I do not feel it, it feels like less than a prick from a tack

Even in a crowd of many people

I seem to stick out like a steeple

People around me can sense I’m not the same

Somehow they know, myself, I maim

In a public place I cut myself in haste

By accident, blood begins to flow, what a waste…

As the pain runs through well worn nerves

My body, pleasure, to me it serves

Under my expression of pain and discomfort, that I must wear for a while

I hide a hidden smile…

I'm going to hope that you're not really talking about yourself, and the creepy image you paint reminds me of alot of movies and docu's I've seen about people who only feel relief and feel good after they inflict self damage, so yeah

I am a cutter, but I don't like that word. SI is too short and vauge. Maybe one day I'll find a word that fits. more..
