Sadness In Her Eyes

Sadness In Her Eyes

A Story by BloodyMary
"

Straight from the top of my head.

"
The girl watches the love of her life,
with someone else.
She watches with sadness in her eyes as the other girl hurts him.
She cannot help him, but can only watch him.
The girl watches the love of her life,
get hurt.
She watches with sadness in her eyes, because he is so close, but so far.
She cannot help him, but can only watch him.
The girl watches the love of her life,
still blindly love the one that hurt him.
She watches with sadness in her eyes as the other girl ignores his pleas.
She cannot help him, but can only watch him.
The girl watches the love of her life,
in distress.
She watches with sadness in her eyes, as he cries alone.
She cannot help him, she can only watch him.
The girl watches the love of her life,
die inside.
She watches with sadness in her eyes, as with his conflicted feelings, he punishes himself.
She cannot help him, she can only watch.
The girl watches the love of her life,
who has no where to turn.
She watches with sadness in her eyes, as he screams in rage at himself, and at the other girl.
She cannot help him, she can only watch.
The girl watches the love of her life,
crawl back into the arms of the other girl.
She watches with sadness in her eyes, as he is once again backstabbed by the love of  his life.
She cannot help him, she can only watch.
The girl watches the love of her life,
punish himself again for not being perfect.
She watches with sadness in her eyes,
as he takes his own life.
She could never help him, she could only watch,
for he didn't think of her.

i absolutely love this. this is the story of me and my ex. the difference is that we knew each other was there and we helped each other regularly but still none of it seemed to make a difference. this hit home for me and i love it.

I specially loved the last two lines of this poem. Oh, and the message is beautiful - something that a lot can relate. Very good one. Good job. :)

I loved it. Makes a lot of sense to me, and I could relate. Into my favorites it goes! I loved the repetition too. It worked well for you and made the story all the better.
