Postmortem Love

Postmortem Love

A Poem by Cyanide Suicide
"

XD Yes the title sucks. I was bored.

"

I lean against your side,
Your arms warm around me,
Hands sweetly caressing,
While your love surrounds me.

Safe in your loving heart
I hope to always stay,
And never far apart,
Each and every day.

The faithful are strongest,
And those who love sweetest,
And love, you have saved me.
I, who was the weakest.

Together forever,
For you I dearly crave
Eternally I'm yours.
I'll love you past the grave.

We all have our little poems like this lying around, the man forgotten, the poem still there, like a totem. Some of my best are of that kind. Loving... it's never in vain, if you're a poet. Thanks for sharing.
