Yona sat across the table from Jin her uncle for this century. Jinn was a vampire like her he had no blood relation but was assigned to watch over her. Reborn young she had to have an older vamp to ask as guardian till she was 18 in the human world.

 "Yona you’ll need to feed soon have you picked who yet?" jinn asked

      "Yes I have thanks for the concern. Any head way in the disappearances yet? Yona said watching his reaction. Yona knew this was one subject that jinn was very sensitive too. There hadn’t been a vampire death since the war ended. A week ago vampires started disappearing.

  "No nothing." jinn replied sadly” the dragons may finally be making there move but they won’t even consider it they think it may be an uprising of the old clans."

   "Maybe it the hunters or some new threat that we haven’t encountered before." Yona stood and walked from the room. They had issued blood censuses of all vampire clan heads in attempt to find out who was responsible. It was the first time that it had happened in millennia because only the vampire king was able to glen the truth from their blood.

Yona was a soldier not a school girl she was going to get to the bottom of it she knew it wasn’t an uprising she could feel it in her blood. She walked out the front door and was hit. She fell down the stairs landing heavily on her back. She jumped to her feet only to be hit a second time. The blow disorientated her knocking her off balance.  A third blow then a forth. Yona fell back her world went black
