Eternal Invitation

This was an assignment I had to do. It is in Terza Rima format. We had to send one to hell and give them an apt punishment. I did a man named Joseph Dahmer. Here it is.

Feast your eyes upon such a beast!

It is the name Dahmer with which he was known-

who in life enjoyed to feast

on more than just his guest's bone.

It is true that he devoured many a human-

shortly after inviting them to a house of his own,

eating them up time and time again.

It is for this reason he is tortured eternally

for his treacherous sin.

In the seventh circle, for violence against many

a noose constricting his neck- his insides spilling out

as men feast on him hungrily;

what he deserves without any doubt.

In this place, hanging is but all he can do,

as the men around him ask of him "Come and hang arounf for dinner, will you?"
