The Bravest

The Bravest

A Poem by Cameron Allen
"

Nonsense rhyme to go with my "Sea Creature" collection.

"

Bravery comes in many forms
and many an occupation.

The fireman’s game to put out the flame
and goes hurrying out of the station.

The detective will sleuth to uncover the truth
and solve the insolvable mystery.

True heroes abound on the air, sea and ground
throughout our noble history.

And then there’s the judge whose will will not budge
as he tries and convicts the mobster.

But, the bravest for sure was the guy who procured
and ate the very first lobster.
