Acceptance

No matter where I end up, I know I got people waiting. 

Heaven or Hell, I know i got friends baking. 

And some in the clouds, I just don't know if ill make it.

 

I don't have a religion, just my own beliefs 

No amount of Hail Mary's can provide me relief

No one can tell me what happens when I cease to breath.

No one can tell me when im deceased I cant see.

 

Because no one can prove to me that I even exist. 

What is a soul?

What is conciseness?

Why is this world so deeply rooted in mathematics?

Maybe the Matrix wasn't a myth.

Maybe its as simple as your a Jedi or a Sith.

Either way I cant look at the universe and believe were the only ones that live.

Good thought. I like the issue of existentialism, without getting too turgid.

Just a small correction- "What is "consciousness"?". And I think it should be "Hail Mary"s.

Reason, purpose and intentions are what the individual makes of them. The meaning of life can only be answered by someone who has lived it, what is a soul can only be explained by some who has lost it then found again. Religion is the business of spiritualism for those who need help believing, and we all live in a world of our own making. Great poem :~)

I bet you would enjoy watching the videos on Channeling Erik, and who really knows for sure if Momma really believes that her long dead son is speaking through this incredibly precious young blonde psychic(s) that claim to hear him and relay messages about the afterlife, one either takes a leap or calls a foul, either way there is no real tangible proof it's just all a matter if you truly WANT to believe it.
