Where the wild things are

Where the wild things are

A Poem by Captain Goldpants

In a bed

on a rope
on the end of an electrical cord

asleep at the wheel
standing on a station
crossing a road
an ex smoker with lung cancer

the end of the road might be
anywhere

and those wild things might be anywhere..even where they don't belong.. I am not so sure being a whild thing is always bad..but being good all the times certainly must be.

My very favorite book to read to my children is "Where the Wild Things Are." I think I like this grown up version even more.

Damn this poem certainly hit hard in the gut just like I am sure it would to someone who just found out they had cancer... great way to get the emotions across.
