Last night in Spain

Last night in Spain,
Saint James threw his hat in the ring.

Threw the towel in, and laid his bones down
into the sands of Spain.

Last night in Spain
I lost my name
I hit the wall
I swam the flood
and came aground

Last night in Spain
I lost my head
I sailed the seas
With a chorus of angels
to Santiago

It is indeed the same Saint James, Archangel Gabriel.

The Saint James of these lyrics was beheaded by the sword of Herod Agrippa. His body was taken by angels to Santiago

See The Archangel Gabriel's review for a link to more information on Saint James. Maybe you'd like to read that whilst listening to the song, which is at http://www.myspace.com/franksparty

That one? Probably! He has some connection to Spain.

Thanks. Great write! I look forward to reading more of your work.
