SavedA Poem by Moth PhoenixIt's a song about a boy telling a girl he loves her and then he just forgets about her... and by the end she's been saved.
Have I become a shadow in your mind,
does my existence exist? I can feel the cold wind touch my lips, frozen words can't reach you. Please tell me the truth, before your lies dissolve me. I can't hold on any longer, the pain is just too much. I'm a flower ready to wilt, someone please save me. You told me you loved me to death, now does neglect seem to be part of love? The frozen lips of a lie kiss me, what did I do to deserve this? Please tell me the truth, before your lies dissolve me. I can't hold on any longer, the pain is just too much. My heart is ready to wilt, can someone please save me? The lies you told me with your eyes, can't live on any longer. They burn with the fire of truth, and you are soon gone. I can't hold on any longer, the pain is just too much. Your lies will soon wilt, and someone will have saved me. I'm holding on stronger than ever, the pain has subsided, the lies of your voice are gone, and I am now saved. © 2010 Moth PhoenixAuthor's Note
