Forgotten Children

Forgotten Children

A Poem by Moth Phoenix
"

I listend to 'Forgotten Children' by Tokio Hotel and got inspired :D Hope you like!!

"

There stand their blurred faces,

ones forgotten by society.

Their lives taken from them by abandonment,

can't you hear them crying?

Maybe you've seen the ones I talk of,

but they're so hard to find.

Astray and solo they march,

Ignored and anguished is tattooed on their hearts.

One day they'll be discovered,

stopped and left in stone.

A cry for attention is all they wanted,

but everyone snubbed them.

Forever an evanescence memory,

one that will be so hard to find.

They reach out towards you,

only to be blown away.

Once remembered by paper and pen,

now scribed as forgotten children.

I think it's very good Karina! It just feels a little empty at the end. I'll try to help you come up with something to put down as the closing line.
