Eye of the Blind Wolf

Eye of the Blind Wolf

A Poem by Moth Phoenix
"

For my creative writing class

"

The eyes of the sea blink with every wave,

the soft voice of the moon croons me to sleep.

Where I lay in a sweet serenity,

as reality becomes ones dreamscape.

Forever now he'll walk that foggy path,

filled with rage, rebellion and wrath.

The stars will twinkle and the sky will sigh,

catching the eye of the blind wolf.

There he goes on his long midnight walk,

one without a friend here but up there.

The brightest star for him to see,

one that's farewell is far too obscure.

Amber ground and chartreuse trees,

her breath exhales as the day inhales.

Well read it three times and to me it speaks of how inner peace can only be found on your own, no one can can give it to you. Very nice piece.
