Where are you Dad?

Where are you Dad?

A Poem by Moth Phoenix
"

I'm adopted. I know my mother. Not my father. I would like to.

"

Upon her eyes of heavy mist,

lay the memories of her father.

Her heart swollen with sadness,

no photograph to remember.

She reaches out but grabs nothing,

asking herself where did she come from?

Where has he gone, where does he live.

Does he remember who she is?

A horrible one night stand or true loves being,

a question that only a mother can answer.

Where are you dad,

will you ever come back?

So far from mother and father,

a struggle she goes through every day.

She takes a guess and is never right,

to ask the one simple question is key.

But she's far from her mother,

a girl who doesn't know her background.

She'll wait here until the time comes,

for this unsolved mystery to be done.

Where are you dad?

well written... especially:
"Upon her eyes of heavy mist, lay the memories of her father."
and:
"She reaches out but grabs nothing," i like that because I can almost imagine you reaching out, like you're litteraly trying to gasp your dad, but you can't...
