Phoenix

Phoenix

A Poem by Moth Phoenix
"

This is a deep poem.... I pulled some things from my past.

"

And she stood there in the rain,

an eerie shadow she cast.

One that no one will forget,

upon their soon to be regret.

Those hideous laughs thrown her way,

by those evil demons who have nothing nice to say.

A wound that can never be forgotten,

nor tended, healed, or bandaged.

In the eye of the storm she's caught,

wrath which pulses through her veins and makes her hot.

Blood shot eyes and weakened knees,

brings her to the ground where her fear flees.

And she stood there in the rain,

a spirit who wanted revenge.

Never could take those reins,

all hopes washed down the drain.

Ashes fall and ashes lay,

here comes thy new day.

Reborn and alive will fix,

of the girl who became that fantastic Phoenix.

I love the sprawling random imagery that we gain. The direction is good even if I think the structure needs a bit of work... But thats not to say that its taken away from the proper intentions.. good stuff..
