PhoenixA Poem by Moth PhoenixThis is a deep poem.... I pulled some things from my past. And she stood there in the rain, an eerie shadow she cast. One that no one will forget, upon their soon to be regret. Those hideous laughs thrown her way, by those evil demons who have nothing nice to say. A wound that can never be forgotten, nor tended, healed, or bandaged. In the eye of the storm she's caught, wrath which pulses through her veins and makes her hot. Blood shot eyes and weakened knees, brings her to the ground where her fear flees. And she stood there in the rain, a spirit who wanted revenge. Never could take those reins, all hopes washed down the drain. Ashes fall and ashes lay, here comes thy new day. Reborn and alive will fix, of the girl who became that fantastic Phoenix. © 2010 Moth PhoenixAuthor's Note
