Amnesia

Amnesia

A Poem by Moth Phoenix
"

This is about losing who you are in a relationship, and sometimes once you're out, you CAN'T remember.

"
A wall to barricade,
to yearn for amnesia,
evanescence.

The amnesia hits hard,
I can't remember her,
where has she gone?
A question mark for facial features,

Deep in her mind,
an everlasting loss.
Where did she go?

You took her from me,
raped me of my personality
I'm left with whatever you created,
but that's not me.

I whisper out and search,
but she's gone.
A good person she was,
now I mourn the loss.

A wall to barricade me from you,
to yearn for amnesia from you,
to hope you evanescence.
