Innocent Child

Open your eyes little child

and see what the world has to offer.

Know that I'll make it the best for you,

no matter what I have to do.

I'l work anyway I can,

and don't worry I'm your biggest fan.

Take those first steps forward as life goes on,

and let them take you where you want to go.

Don't worry if you fall once just get back up,

I have faith that life will guide you home,

home to where everything awaits you. 

You're currently the innocence of life,

and don't spoil it.

Take as long as you want to get through life,

don't let anyone push you. 

Embrace every second of the day,

sleep every second of the night. 

Every wonder takes you far,

so let the thought take you away.

I'll do everything I have to. 

Let all your fantasies come true,

and every nightmare fade.

this poem is very real, it shows that we need to embrace childhood and just stay a kid, and not get caught up in this crazy world that involves peer pressure and ect. overall nice write.
